It targets small- and medium-scale sustainable energy opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific region. Our team provides advisory support in the areas of investment strategy, business case structuring, and accessing finance. We work through independent experts with extensive experience in both developing and getting projects funded.

Are you a young African entrepreneur who has developed an innovative solution with a demonstrated positive impact on the achievement of the SDGs on the continent? If yes, this call for applications is for YOU. Applicants should submit a pitch deck of up to 15 slides in PPT, and an accompanying narrative in Word of no more than 1500 words outlining their innovative solution.

This call for proposals is aimed at contributing to innovation and entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa on food security, blue economy, climate adaptation, marine litter, renewable energy and clean cooking solutions, and aquaculture. Eligible recipients are private actors in Norway and in recipient countries. The primary end target group is the population in Sub-Saharan Africa, with priority to Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Ghana, and Malawi.

Some women have leveraged technology to address some factors inhibiting the success of businesses in Nigeria like access to market, finance etc. The BLPARW Innovative Entrepreneur Award will highlight the work of evolutionary female entrepreneurs who have leveraged technology and will stand as an inspiration for others.

You stand the chance of receiving a $50,000 grant as well as access to leading donors, industry and institutional players who will support introductions to customers. Creating a just and inclusive energy transition, and extending the benefits of clean energy to all to meet sustainable development goals (SDGs) 7 and 13.
