Jeff Glasson starts as the new CTO at TWAICE, the now 100-strong battery software company headquartered in Munich, Germany. There, Glasson is responsible for the technology team and overall technology strategy. He will drive product delivery, scale TWAICE’s cloud platform, and ensure technology excellence across customer industries.

Before coming to Germany, Glasson worked in the technology industry in Silicon Valley. He has held various technical positions at HP, Apple and NeXT. After joining NeXT’s management team as head of the OS group, Jeff held leadership positions at Apple, VMware, and Cloudera, each responsible for various software technologies and global engineering teams. Most recently, Jeff served as VP of Engineering at Contentful in Berlin, where he led the scaling of the engineering organization from about 40 to over 100 employees in 2.5 years. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
