Our product is the Vaccibox: a 100% locally made, portable, solar-powered refrigerator for transporting and storing vaccines, blood and blood products, and other medical supplies. It has a capacity of 40 litres and a temperature range of 2 to 10 degrees Celsius.

Since it is easy to transport, it can be mounted on a motorcycle or boat when healthcare facilities are deployed in rural, remote and inaccessible areas.

The Vaccibox also has a data management platform that allows medical staff to monitor data collection in real time. Moreover, the technology is manufactured in Kenya, which is a huge market for the locals. Initial testing of the product has yielded encouraging results.
