STABL Energy GmbH

STABL Energy develops power electronics for a modular design of battery storage systems, which are considered key components for the integration of renewable energy generation and electromobility. The technology from STABL Energy make central inverters for connection to the power grid obsolete. Previously static, passive batteries have become dynamic, active components with STABL Energy. Inverters are used, among other things, to ensure the supply of environmentally friendly electricity to the supply network.

Stabl Energy’s technology will also make it possible to re-use discarded batteries in electric cars. With the help of the modular inverters, battery modules from electric vehicles can be converted into stationary batteries. According to Stabl’s inverter, the sometimes very different residual capacities of battery modules do not play a role, since the maximum usable capacity of all modules, in contrast to a central inverter, can be increased.

STABL Energy has its origins in research projects of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, the Technical University of Munich and the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück.
