Worldtech Consult’s mission is to provide life-sustaining solutions to people in need around the world. Our products are mains-independent and require little to no maintenance. Our advanced technology in solar energy and ice storage allows us to provide cold storage, clean drinking water and renewable energy to people in need. We have spent several years developing a life-saving solution for smallholder farmers, market women and youth who have the means to preserve food and obtain clean water.

Small farmers complained about the lack of storage facilities and reliable electricity. There were empty rooms, but they were not suitable for storing perishable goods. After extensive interviews and discussions with key players in the food value chain, we designed our first prototype. Our goal was to build a solar-powered mini-refrigerated warehouse that could help reduce post-harvest losses at farms and market centers.
